Greetings!

This site is still under construction; we will soon have an online portfolio for you to view of my gardens.  In the meantime, here's some information about myself and the services I provide.

I specialize in custom landscape and garden design for the desert Southwest.

My work has appeared in media outlets including Sunset Magazine, Tucson Lifestyles, The Arizona Daily Star, and Home and Garden Television. It has also been  recognized both locally and nationally with awards including 4 of Sunset Magazine's Western Garden Design Awards and numerous Arizona Landscape Contractor's Association awards.

Most residential gardens are private, but occasionally gardens I've designed are open to the public on garden tours-these have included the Tucson Botanical Garden's Spring Tour of Home Gardens, the Bay Area Horticultural Society's tour of Arizona, the Armory Park Neighborhood Association and the Tour of Alternative Housing.

More public projects include common areas for Sonora Cohousing in Tucson, and the newly opened  "Desert Living Courtyard" at Tohono Chul Park, an extensive series of demonstration gardens designed to showcase a variety of styles of low water use (xeriscape) gardens.

I'm often asked if I only design  large projects, and the answer is NO! I work with clients on projects of all sizes, from large residences to tiny courtyards. The most beautiful gardens are very much collaborative efforts with my clients, and I use my skills to interpret their dreams and create the kind of inviting environments they want as an extension of  their homes.
